Dreaming Bins by Amanda @broadclothstudio

Hi, friends! This is the fifth in a series of posts I’ll be sharing to show off some fun and beautiful ways you can use the fabrics from my latest collection Dreaming now available at Hawthorne Supply Co.

These beautiful bins were made by Amanda @broadclothstudio using the Sewn Stash Baskets pattern from Purl Soho as a jumping-off point.

Amanda chose three of my favorite prints from the collection that complement each other perfectly when they’re sweetly nested up together.

A Bit About Amanda

Amanda is a quilter, serial entrepreneur, Quilt Buzz co-host, and author of the book Quilt Your Own Adventure, which hits the shelves in April. I’ve had the privilege of testing many of her beautiful, modern quilt patterns for her shop and the upcoming book. She has the best dad and data jokes around and has been the best sounding board, listening ear, and quilty BFF one could ask for. Beyond her sewing machine, Amanda is most likely to be found with her nose in a book, playing the viola, or out on the hiking trail.

Once again Quiltstagram for the win, Amanda and I met through commenting and DMing each other when I first joined the scene in 2019. We’ve shared miles and miles of both dumb and profound text conversations and about 50 virtual interviews with other talented quilters via the Quilt Buzz podcast. She’s been one of my biggest cheerleaders and I can’t thank her enough for all her help over the years.

Dreaming Fabrics

For this project, Amanda used Dreamscape (in geranium), Sprinkle Geo (in leaf). and Pheobe Dot (in teal) printed on quilting cotton. Using these jewel tones in this application is a great way to add some pops of color to any interior space.

Dreaming

These bins made with fabric from my Dreaming collection is just one lovely example of how versatile the designs can be. Hawthorne Supply Co. offers my collection in over twelve substrates so the project possibilities are endless. Bags, quilts, clothing, accessories … whatever you can dream up.

The Dreaming fabric collection is available at Hawthorne Supply Co.

Don’t forget to follow Amanda on Instagram and pre-order her upcoming book Quilt Your Own Adventure.
